Cincinnati-Hamilton County CAA Fresh Start – CAA assists ex-offenders in finding employment by providing services with a special focus on the unique barriers ex-offenders often face.
Cleveland Eastside Ex-Offender Coalition – The Cleveland Eastside Ex-Offender Coalition is an interfaith, non-profit partnership of churches, social services organizations, businesses, and other non-profit service providers. The agency’s mission is to provide compassionate services to Ohio’s incarcerated population and their families and minor children to improve their overall quality of life socially, financially, academically, emotionally and spiritually.
Center For Employment Opportunities – We work with felons to find jobs- There is a 4 day life skills class- then transitional work- for up to 75 days-we supply the transportation, work boots and other gear to do the job. There is a supervising job coach with them while they are working and they are paid daily and receive a debit card where they can access their money daily.
Franklin County Re-Entry Coalition – The Franklin County Reentry Coalition was established in 2009 to address the dramatic rise in the number of ex-offenders returning to the Franklin County community, and to overcome the fragmentation of services and lack of coordination between service providers and a lack of a leadership entity to coordinate the various services that assist ex-offenders.
Heart to Heart Family Support Center – Our mission is to educate, empower and equip individuals (re-entry) to develop productive lives, become self -sufficient that will lead them to make a difference within their communities.
National HIRE Network – Established by the Legal Action Center in 2001, the National Helping Individuals with criminal records Re-enter through Employment (H.I.R.E.) Network is both a national clearinghouse for information and an advocate for policy change.
New Horizons Workforce Development – We provide IT and computer training. This will prepare you to sit for life changing certifications upon completion.
Ohio Ex-Offender Reentry Coalition – The mission of the Ohio Ex-Offender Reentry Coalition is to ensure successful offender reentry, reduce recidivism and enhance public safety. The Coalition will achieve these goals through collaborative partnerships with government entities, faith and community-based organizations and other stakeholders.
Ohio Means Jobs – Lucas County – Although this technically isn’t a reentry program, they’re a great one-stop employment center and are happy to provide services to returning workers to help them get employed again.
Ohio Reentry Resource Center – The Reentry Resource Guide is a collection of county by county fact sheets that provides vital information to assist offenders’ reentry into society. Areas include social services, human services, local, county, state, and federal agencies, and other service agencies such as libraries, substance abuse programs, mental health counseling, veterans services commissions, educational opportunities, faith-based agencies, food, clothing, and job training and placement.

The Exit Program (NISRE Inc.) – The EXIT Program ® (Ex-offenders in Transition) is a 90-day transitional housing program that helps offenders in Ohio make a successful transition to the community upon release from prison or jail. The EXIT Program® is operated and managed by NISRE, Inc. (Nothing Into Something Real Estate, Inc.)- a faith, based, non-profit organization that has been successfully serving the community with the re-integration of offenders from prison since 2002.
Vocational Guidance Services – A highly acclaimed, successful, private, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) vocational rehabilitation agency with over 125 years of dedicated experience serving individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment.
Welcome Home Sis – Welcome Home SIS is a non-profit Christian-based safety net that caters to women who have been impacted by the criminal INjustice system and have endured a substantial period of imprisonment. We provide a safe space and stable living environment. A sanctuary that allows the healing process to begin. We strive to empower System Impacted Survivors by equipping them with essential life skills that prepare them for independence and a second chance at life.
